Who we are
Shanlian Global operates shanlianglobal.com. Our confirmed Chinese company name is 山聯(長興)新材料股份有限公司. The Privacy Department handles privacy enquiries and rights requests at [email protected].
Information and scope
This notice covers Contact and Request Sample forms and related B2B correspondence. We process names, companies, business email addresses, telephone numbers, countries/regions, applications, product interests, expected volumes and messages, where provided. Sample requests also require a delivery address. Required fields are marked; we do not currently request a job title. Please do not submit passwords, identity documents, banking or unrelated sensitive information.
Purposes and legal basis
We use necessary information to answer enquiries, assess requirements, prepare quotations, arrange requested samples and manage business relationships. Technical information supports site operation, security and abuse prevention. Where the GDPR applies, relevant bases include requested pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b) and legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f), subject to their requirements. Activities requiring consent use a separate choice. Ordinary enquiries do not subscribe you to marketing or trigger a customer autoresponder.
Systems, recipients and international processing
Only authorized personnel and providers access information needed for their roles. Hostinger hosts the application and SQLite enquiry/outbox records on our German VPS; Hostinger Mail handles business correspondence. Resend handles transactional notifications when enabled. Cloudflare provides DNS, HTTPS, Tunnel, access/security and Turnstile when enabled. Authorized business personnel in China may access enquiries. Resend states that messages and delivery logs are stored in the United States; Ireland is the sending region, not a promise of EU-only storage. We apply the international-transfer arrangements and safeguards required by applicable law and relevant provider contracts. We do not sell enquiry information.
Security information and cookies
Necessary access and security technologies may process IP addresses, timestamps, browser/request signals and outcomes. Our application uses IP-derived rate-limit keys and minimal operational metadata; Turnstile tokens are not retained in enquiries or notifications. Cloudflare Turnstile may process device signals, including browser and TLS characteristics. Optional analytics or advertising is subject to the notices and choices required by law.
Retention and deletion
Ordinary enquiries that do not develop into business are retained for 12 months after closure; ongoing business enquiries for 24 months after the last substantive contact; and standalone sample requests for 24 months after fulfilment. Contracts, accounting records, disputes and legal holds follow applicable legal requirements. Deletion covers relevant enquiry records, notification metadata, email copies, provider records and backups, not just one database row. Restricted backups are removed through their retention cycle; restoration must account for completed deletions.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, copies, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent where consent is the relevant basis. Email [email protected]; we may make proportionate identity checks and respond within the applicable statutory period. You may complain to a competent data protection authority where available. Our B2B website is not directed at children.
Protection and updates
We use proportionate access controls, HTTPS, service isolation, validation and recovery measures. We update this notice when relevant arrangements change and publish the approved version and effective date; material changes receive any additional notice or choice required by law.
